Celebrate 75 Years With Us

Celebrating 75 years as Long Island’s oldest radio club

On Saturday October 8, 2022 from 1500z to 2359z we will be operating a Special Event Station to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the club. 

The event will be held at the historic laboratory of Nikola Telsa (Wardenclyffe) located in Shoreham, N.Y.

We will be active on all HF phone bands as W2DQ and FT8 as W2DQ/75

We will also be operating on the East Coast Refelector 

Please DO NOT send QSL cards or SASEs to the Club address or Trustee KD4EXN.

Update 27 Oct 2022: Commemorative certificates are now available for download to all confirmed contacts at http://cert.elemcoshopfloor.com/. Enter the call sign you used to contact us. There is a drop-down box for events, select Suffolk County Radio Club 75th Anniversary, Press Search. A list will come up showing your contacts if you are in the log. Click Get Certificate to download your certificate. You can enter a comment if you wish.

If there are issues with the certificate please email certificate_issue@gsbarc.org with details of the concern. This is the only email that will address issues with the certificate.
