Newsday visited the SCRC to discuss the club’s plans for participation in the upcoming events and radio science related to the eclipse which will occur Mon, Apr 8. Activites are being coordinated through HamSci.org. Nicholas Spangler’s story is available on Newsday for subscribers along with a video showing some operations. Several members braved the near hurricane strength storm to set up a vertical in order to perform the demonstration.
