The Suffolk County Radio Club (KE2EFX) , supported a presentation for the Tesla Science Center Wardenclyffe to High School Students at the Suffolk County Radio Club. The Tesla Science Center Wardenclyffe was supported by other teams such as Teachers from Suffolk County Community College, Brookhaven National Lab and a Retired Colonel from Space Force. At the end of the day’s presentations the students gathered into quad area to stretch legs and engage with communicating on the Radio using the W2DQ callsign and the 2m repeater. Thank you to all that participated in the radio responses – it helped demonstrate the use of radio, call sign, explain the path of radio communications in its purpose across facets of needs from daily use through volunteering as well as the emergency possibilities.

Additionally new ham and club member Meredith KE2GOT was present acting as a chaperone for the group.
Members of the SCRC continue to be visible within the community, promoting Amateur Radio and the Suffolk County Radio Club.
