A great big thank you to everyone who came out and packed the clubhouse for this past Monday’s meeting! It was great to see such a strong turnout.
We were pleased to welcome our guest presenter, Blair Kitchen, KE2EHU, joining us from the Kings County Radio Club. Blair delivered a fantastic 101-style introduction to JS8Call — a digital mode that’s been gaining some attention in the amateur radio community.
Blair walked members through what JS8Call is, how it differs from other digital modes like FT8, and what you need to get started — covering the software, basic station setup, and key settings to get on the air. It was a great beginner-friendly overview that left many members eager to give the mode a try.
A huge thank you to Blair, KE2EHU, for a very informative and engaging presentation, and to all the members who came out to support the evening.
