On Monday August 29, 2022 the club met at the Longwood Youth Sport Association clubhouse in Yaphank. Our very own Pres W2PW did a presentation on the handheld that everyone loves to hate, the Baofeng. Pres went over some common menu settings and showed some shortcuts for programming memories.
Another great field day, this year we operated as 2A out in the field with HF and VHF/UHF stations set up at the Longwood Youth Center in Yaphank powered by generators and batteries.
